About The Doctor
Dr. Scott Marcum was born and raised on the central coast of California. He received his Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Southern California and his Endodontics Certificate from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He is a member of The American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Central Coast Dental Society and the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Marcum practiced general dentistry for six years prior to his acceptance into the Endodontics program at Nova Southeastern University. He was a partner with his brother Lloyd for seven years. Dr. Marcum decided to start up his own practice in northern San Luis Obispo County. His practice, Nova Endodontics, opened June 2006. The word Nova, in some terms, refers to “a new beginning”. Dr. Marcum along with his highly trained staff take pride in providing patients with state of the art dental equipment in a comfortable and gentle environment.
